OCR: ght PARISERVE seeing Palais Bourbon - Assemblée Nationale Currently housing the National Assembly, this palace was built by Louis the 14th between 1722 and 1728 for his daughter, the duchess of Bourbon. The prince of Cond, added to it in 1764, and it eventually expanded to include the hôtel de Lassay in 1768 (now reserved for the president of the Assembly.) During the Revolution, the Palais Bourbon was the seat of the Council of the Five Hundred. The north face of the building, looking out over the Seine, was built in 1807 in a Greek style by the architect Poyer. Its library, decorated by Delacroix, is interesting enough to merit a visit in itself.
